Safety Switch Upgrade

As part of our commitment to monitoring the development of state-of-the art safety upgrades, WISE INDUSTRIES is now utilizing a new lockout safety device on equipment such as openers, blenders, and perimeter safety systems. Allen-Bradley has recently developed the new lockout safety device. It is an upgrade over the previously used air cylinder and limit switch safety devices, and renders these devices unsafe and unreliable in comparison.

The Allen-Bradley lockout switch, known as the Titan TLS safety switch, will remain mechanically latched during coast down if the time delay is properly adjusted. Accordingly, it is imperative that the timer is adjusted to account for the different coast down time periods for each individual piece of equipment. A WISE technician can be provided at a minimal cost to make the necessary timer adjustments.

The estimated cost of the Titan TLS safety switch complete with related hardware is approximately $686.00 U.S. dollars. This estimated price may vary slightly based upon the application and mounting This price does not include freight or installation.

This switch will not take the place of proper operator training, safety programs, equipment maintenance, or general housekeeping.
